very center of Bowie County, is 21 miles west from Texarkana, Texas MSA
on the interstate corridor I-30. New Boston is a 2-1/2 hr drive to
Dallas, Texas and also to Little Rock, Arkansas. The citizens of New
Boston have passed a 1/2 cent sales tax dedicated solely to the pursuit
of industry. The New Boston SIDC has successfully attracted industries
to our area in the past by the use of land, cash and tax abatement
incentives. Bowie County, named after the Alamo Hero, James Bowie, has a
history of granting tax abatements for justifiable cases and industry in
our area certainly qualifies as a justifiable case. Because the SIDC
Industrial Park is outside the city limits of New Boston, there is no
city tax applicable. New Boston has an exemplary educational system, an
outstanding quality of life and an excellent location! The New Boston
